Built in 1774 this historic farm, formally known as Westfall Farm, comprises 336 acres of pristine and preserved farmland equipped with spacious barns, stables, fenced in pastures, and hay fields.  A charming colonial-era home, overlooks the entire site.  We have built a sanctuary for farmed animals and a preserve for native wildlife that will go on for generations to come. We are inspired by the number of lives, both human and animal, that can be transformed by Tamerlaine Sanctuary & Preserve.  Join us in creating this incredible haven for future generations. All proceeds from our events go directly into caring for the animals at the sanctuary.

WEEKEND GETAWAY ONLY: Available through Airbnb, click this link: Airbnb. Rates are between $899. and $1,499. a night (depending on the season.) Included in your stay are seven bedrooms, four bathrooms upstairs, access to common areas, a kitchen, and a powder room downstairs—a private tour for your entire group with one of our founders, where you will meet and interact with all of our animal residents.

EVENT SPACE FEES: Starting at $1000 for small events up to $8,500 for weekend stays. Depending on your package, you will have use of the property’s Event Barn, Grounds, Entire Farmhouse + areas for bridal party prep, a luxury restroom trailer, and a basic tent setup for up to 200 people. This also includes access to power outlets and our parking area.

The venue exclusively uses caterers that can accommodate PLANT-BASED MENUS out of respect for our animal residents. The venue assumes no liability for alcohol service or consumption. 

Please note this does not include catering, staff, rentals, or additional event needs. These prices will vary depending on the nature of the event.

We can work within your budget to create the event of your dreams for large or smaller occasions.

Does the location have restrooms and are they ADA accessible?

Yes, luxury non-permanent restrooms are available for the entire season. We also have an ADA-accessible restroom(s) available.

How many guests can the Tamerlaine accommodate?

Most weddings are between 75-200, however with our 336 acre property we can accommodate up to 500 guests.

what kind of locations are there on the property for events?

There are several locations for both ceremonies and receptions. Most are outdoors. The most common locations for receptions are outdoors under a tent or for parties under 100 inside our event barn. For the ceremony, we offer a private area overlooking one of our ponds or under a beautiful cluster of Norway Spruce in our magical Enchanted Forest.

What does the rental include?

Depending on the package, you can access the venue from 8 am on or for the entire weekend. Our historic 1774 seven-bedroom home is also available in our packages.

Can I bring my own catering?

Yes, you can. However, we work with local caterers that deliver exceptional plant-based menus. Out of respect for the animals at the sanctuary, any and all food on the property and in the farmhouse must be VEGAN.

How many people can stay at the historic home on the property?

The home has 7 available bedrooms, and 5 bathrooms. The house comfortably sleeps 14, but can accommodate more.
